Our Mission

Highbridge Voices is a world-class choir created through an after-school program in the Bronx.

The mission of Highbridge Voices is to inspire excellence in the lives of children through their participation in the performing arts. By leading children through the rigorous training required to learn and to perform music on a professional level, Highbridge Voices introduces them to experiences of beauty and success attainable through their own efforts.

The high expectations of the Program, which focuses on promoting the mastery of musical skills, helps to instill values in the children that carry over into other aspects of their lives. Highbridge Voices accustoms children to having high expectations of themselves in everything they do, especially in pursuing the mastery of their school work. The goal of the Program is to have each child excel in their academic work at a level comparable to their individual excellence in the performing arts. Highbridge Voices will seek to provide all the support necessary to help all of our children reach this goal.
