Highbridge Voices Announces 2026 Annual Benefit Concert

BRONX, NY – Highbridge Voices (HBV), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through music education, is proud to announce its 2026 Annual Benefit Concert, taking place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City.

This special evening will celebrate more than 28 years of impact, featuring inspiring choral performances by Highbridge Voices students. The concert will highlight the artistry, dedication, and growth of its young musicians while raising critical support for the continued expansion of its programs.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30 PM at the St. Patrick’s Youth Center, followed by the concert at 7:00 PM at the Basilica.

Highbridge Voices is also honored to recognize Perry Notias, Founder and CEO of Notias Construction, for his continued commitment to strengthening the Highbridge community and supporting opportunities for young people in the Bronx.

This year’s Annual Benefit Concert will feature acclaimed organist Dr. Nathaniel Gumbs as a featured artist for the evening. A Bronx native, Dr. Gumbs currently serves as Director of Music at The Riverside Church in New York City and has performed throughout the United States and internationally. Praised by The New York Times for his “mature, lyrical, accurate and energetic” playing, Dr. Gumbs is recognized as one of today’s leading concert organists. He holds degrees from Shenandoah Conservatory, Yale University, and the Eastman School of Music, and recently released his debut solo organ project, King of Kings: Organ Music of Black Composers, Past and Present.

This year’s Annual Benefit Concert will also feature GRAMMY Award-winning soprano Brittany Renee as a featured artist and co-emcee for the evening. Brittany has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including The Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and Washington National Opera. Celebrated for her “luminous tones” and “opulent voice,” Brittany continues to captivate audiences with her artistry, elegance, and dynamic stage presence. Recognized as one of opera’s rising stars, she has appeared in acclaimed productions including La Bohème, Porgy & Bess, and Fire Shut Up in My Bones, while continuing to build an impressive international performance career.
