Catherine Vaughn, CFA is the Head of Investor Relations for Hudson Executive Capital, and is responsible for all aspects of business development and marketing.  Catherine joined Hudson Executive Capital from Hutchin Hill Capital LP, where she was a Managing Director and Head of Business Development and Product Strategy.  There she was responsible for all marketing-related activities and was a member of the Operating Committee.  Prior to joining Hutchin Hill Catherine was a Managing Director and Global Head of Asset Management and Investor Relations at Highbridge Capital Management where she was responsible for business development, product strategy and investor relations.  She also served on Highbridge’s Operating Committee and was Chair of the New Product Committee. Before joining Highbridge Catherine was with Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, involved with business development, client service and product development. Prior to Blackstone, Catherine was a Vice President with Banc of America Securities. She has also worked as an Associate with McKinsey & Co. and a Regional Sales Manager for Caterpillar Inc.  Catherine earned an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she was a Rothschild Scholar.  She is a CFA Charterholder. She lives in New York with her husband and their two daughters.

F. Markus Deutsch is the Principal of Landmark Global Associates LLC, the asset manager of multiple hospitality-based real estate ventures and the RTT Group of Companies.  He was President and CEO of Cendant’s Vacation Rental Group (VRG) a $1.2 billion gross revenue e-commerce and real estate management company which he built from a concept developed in 1999. VRG is now part of Wyndham Worldwide, servicing 45,000 real estate owners with 100,000 vacation properties in 22 countries. Prior to that, Markus was Managing Director of Cendant’s travel membership business and hotel franchising business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Markus led acquisitions of 14 companies during his tenure there. Previously Markus was an interim CEO managing a divestiture for a Sony/Polygram joint venture as well as a partner in a firm that owned an investment in a venture leasing firm. He started his career with Citibank. Markus earned his bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics from Hamilton College and an MBA from New York University.  He is a member of the Institute of Directors in London, an advisor to the NYU Center of Entrepreneurship, and serves as a board member at several privately held companies.
