Kevin Alger, 2017 Benefit Host

Kevin R Alger, CFA, enjoyed a 32-year career at JP Morgan Chase where he held many leadership positions managing numerous businesses and hundreds of people worldwide. He became well known as the go-to guy for advice, mentoring, and practical no-nonsense advice.  He remains a favorite mentor to many people around the world.

In 2013 he began focusing on a mix of activities including advising entrepreneurs and start-up companies. He also works with young people as they launch into their working lives and adulthood.

In addition to his service on the Highbridge Voices’ Board, Kevin coaches Highbridge students on life skills and on how to talk about themselves. He also works with high school and college students on various subjects including career planning, successful employee attitudes, and effective communication.

Kevin is the author of “Son of a Postman: Delivering Straight Talk on Managing Fluffers, Bullies and the Rest of the Team” As a speaker, he is a source of lively, helpful insights for employees, business managers, teachers, parents, coaches and leaders of all kinds.

Kevin is a resident of New York City and where he is a long-time supporter of education, animal welfare, and land preservation.
