Highbridge Voices is constantly evaluating our program model to ensure that we are serving our students needs and interests. That’s why this year we are offering academic and music electives to students in grades 7-12.

Instead of taking one-size-fits-all English classes, or learning music theory with workbooks and sight reading drills, students can choose between three music electives and three humanities electives to fulfill their Highbridge Voices credits.

In music, they can choose to study piano, guitar, or percussion for a twelve week session this winter. In the spring, they will be able to try another instrument, or continue on for another twenty weeks.

In academics, students have the choice of taking Creative Writing, Issues & Choices, and a new course called “Mirrors in the Movies”. Learn more about their academic electives here.
